RIP - PAM MADARAS - LAST DOG RESCUED

Handicapped Pam couldn't walk and was born without elbows and joints - She was so happy her last months as she somehow ran with a pack at a dog park - A huge hidden tumor in Pam's windpipe took her suddenly - Pam was only supposed to live 2 years, but made it to 7

RIP - SWEET COCKER WINSTON

He was 16 years old and had a wonderful life with parents who drove from Arizona to adopt him in Southern CA

RIP - SNOWIE (Formerly Pam)

Pam had hundreds of adventures, but developed heart issues recently - She still happily loved and played with her family every day

RIP - Gorgeous cocker spaniel Lily

This beauty had a tumor on her leg and didn't make it through surgery - Everyone adored her

RIP - 15 year old Sunny who loved to stop and smell the flowers

It took a long time to find the right home for Sunny, but he then had the best life for a very long time with a great family and other dogs - He died recently from cancer

RIP - BOTH LITTLE CHLOE (FORMERLY ROBIN) AND HER HUMAN MOM HOLLY

She loved her family and went on lots of adventures, even with cocker Sunny pictured here - She passed from kidney disease

This absolutely gorgeous and handsome loving boy was the apple of his family's eye - He sadly had severe arthritis

He loved daily walks, dog parks and family - He sadly developed kidney disease

Her Mom was one of our best volunteers who loved Honey dearly - She was always full of love and joy and looked gorgeous in every outfit

He was such a beautiful boy and well loved

One of the most beautiful dogs ever - He passed away in February from lymphoma - His Mom loved him so much

He had lymphoma and thyroid cancer - For the past 8 years, his Mom Vickie gave him a wonderful life - This 11 year old beauty was a support therapy dog who loved everybody

He's welcome in restaurants and stores - Loves to ride the trains, trams and buses and has an annual pet transit passport - He's been working with Dad at Google and YouTube for 6 years - Chester's known as "The Emperor" because he demands that people worship him

Laura Madaras: California, United States; I realized that hundreds of dogs were being put to sleep in shelters because they needed grooming. I decided to send money for haircuts. Most shelters didn't accept my checks and these animals sadly died. I was horrified to learn that thousands of animals of all breeds are being put to sleep in shelters because they don't have an owner ID tag or microchip or because they need a haircut. We're very happy that we've been able to find homes for many dogs. All animals were spayed or neutered and had shots and a microchip.
